Pears, a great fruit rich in nutrients with good taste, can be a good suggestion to include in your diet.

Pears have a glycaemic index (GI) of 20-49 which is considered good for diabetic patients.  Due to its low glycaemic index, pears are a good option to control blood sugar.  Pear is a good fruit to avoid the problems faced by diabetic patients due to sudden increase in the amount of sugar in the blood because pear sends glucose slowly into the blood due to which it takes more time to consume glucose.
