There are some simple things that can help you get out of depression
1. Say good morning yourself
Try to calm and refresh your mind by getting up early in the morning and going outside the house in the fresh and clear light to a place where there are more trees or a water pond. Whatever problems and bad thoughts you may have will disappear after a while in such an environment and this morning walk will keep you refreshed and energized for the rest of the day, after walking go home take a bath and have breakfast of your choice. 3. Buying new clothes
Buying new clothes that you really like can bring a lot of satisfaction and happiness to your mind. A depressed person takes less care of himself, does not keep himself clean and fresh, negative thoughts and the environment around him makes his mind negative and starts getting angry with himself, in such a situation buying new clothes for himself gives new confidence to the mind and body. 4. Resume your favorite hobby

Doing something different in will give you a tremendous satisfaction and happiness that will overwhelm you. In today’s hectic life we have almost forgotten about our hobby but we should cultivate our hobby only for ourselves. For a depressed person, finding joy in small things is definitely a step out of depression. Our hobbies that we tend to forget in our busy lifestyles are the hobbies that support us when we are alone and instill a sense of happiness. Your childhood hobbies and interests give you a new energy to get out of depression. If you or someone close to you is suffering from depression, get up now and start pursuing your favorite hobby and you will feel happy within a few days. To add to that, if you can involve whoever is your partner in the hobby that you have taken up, the results will be very good. You and your partner will not only get rid of loneliness but be sure to add to your hobbies and make something memorable happen.

7. Convert negative thoughts into positive energy

Meeting people, knowing what is going on now brings us into the mainstream and motivates us to be with the mainstream then automatically our thinking starts to become positive and helps us to take a step out of depression. We can try to be social by participating in activities such as planting trees, cleaning garbage from the beach, conducting social awareness programs, helping the needy, etc.
9. Stay away from social media for a few days
Excessive use of social media platforms can be a factor in depression. Negative thoughts can come like how happy people are and how sad we are. Some strange and shocking events on social media can cause a person with depression to suddenly burst into tears or become angry. How people react to an incident, how do they comment and if you do not agree with some of the thoughts on social media sometimes, it would be better to stay away from social media for a few days. Also, we should avoid reacting to a negative comment because it starts the negative communication and then we suffer from it. Avoid posting about yourself or changing your profile picture for a few days because you want people’s reaction to it and if the reaction is not satisfactory it can lead to depression and further depression so it is better to stay away from social media completely for a few days.
10. Avoid alcohol and drugs
A depressed person may turn to alcohol or other intoxicants to get rid of bad thoughts or to sleep peacefully, but this can have the opposite effect. The use of alcohol and other harmful drugs can make a depressed person more depressed, and habits like laziness and lack of self-care can increase the depression to dangerous levels. A depressed person feels that if he does not take drugs, he will have to deal with bad thoughts, so such a person may overindulge in drugs and have bad consequences, so it would be more beneficial to stay away from drugs.
